Rental Analyzer Pro (“we”, “our”, or “the service”) provides AI-powered vacation rental listing optimization through a Chrome browser extension, web application (rentalanalyzerpro.app), and ListingPulse subscription monitoring service. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Data We Collect

When you use Rental Analyzer Pro to analyze a listing, we collect the following data from the listing page you are viewing:

  • Listing URL: The web address of the rental listing being analyzed
  • Listing Content: Text content including title, description, amenities, and house rules
  • Photos: URLs of listing photos (we do not store the images themselves long-term)
  • Metadata: Property details like number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and guest capacity
  • Email Address: If you choose to provide it to receive your analysis report

Diagnostic Information: To help us debug issues and improve our service, we also collect anonymous technical data when you run an analysis:

  • Browser version (e.g., Chrome 120)
  • Operating system (e.g., Windows, macOS)
  • Screen resolution and viewport size
  • Language and timezone settings

This diagnostic data helps us identify and fix issues when the extension doesn't work correctly on certain browser or device configurations. It is not used for advertising or tracking purposes.

We do not collect:

  • Your browsing history on other websites
  • Personal information from your Airbnb/Booking.com account
  • Financial or payment information from the listing platforms
  • Data from pages other than the specific listing you choose to analyze
  • Information about other browser extensions you have installed

ListingPulse Subscription Data

If you subscribe to ListingPulse, we additionally collect:

  • Weekly scan snapshots of your listing (photos, title, description, amenities, rating)
  • Competitor listing data in your area (from AirROI and Apify data providers)
  • Score history and change timeline over time
  • Notification preferences and scan schedule
  • Subscription and billing information (processed by Stripe)

How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used solely to:

  • Generate your personalized listing analysis report
  • Provide recommendations for improving your listing
  • Send you your analysis report via email (if you provide your email)
  • Improve our analysis algorithms and service quality

Data Storage and Security

Your data is processed and stored using Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) infrastructure, which provides enterprise-grade security. Analysis reports are stored for 30 days to allow you to access your results. After this period, data may be deleted or anonymized.

We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission between the extension, our servers, and your browser.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our functionality:

  • Google Gemini AI: To analyze listing content and generate recommendations
  • Firebase (Google Cloud): For data storage and hosting
  • Stripe: For payment processing (if you purchase a full report)
  • Resend: For sending email notifications
  • AirROI: For market intelligence and competitor data
  • Apify: For listing data extraction and monitoring
  • Google Maps Platform: For competitive map visualization

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of email communications
  • Uninstall the extension at any time

Cookies and Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage API to temporarily store analysis state (such as whether an analysis is in progress). This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers except as necessary to provide the analysis service.

Children's Privacy

Rental Analyzer Pro is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

ListingPulse Data Retention

ListingPulse subscribers' scan data, score history, and competitor intelligence data is retained for the duration of an active subscription plus 90 days after cancellation. After this retention period, data may be anonymized or deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting support.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
